Carmex

Is that not the best ad for CARMEX!!

Open Mouth and Guts Fall Out!

I go Krogering about 3 times a week.  I usually take all my kids and maybe an extra kid from the neighborhood or just someone that likes being with us.......yes, some people actually like us :)
We usually get the normal glance from people just shopping.  Elders smile really big and adore the kids.  Men just walk faster but it's always the women that say something so stupid like "Are all those kids your kids?" which I reply back "Well, they are now!  I picked up 2 from Kentucky, dropped off 1 in Tennessee and stole a couple from Kansas and when I go back to Mexico I'm planning on sneaking a few more out!"
I know it sounds like I'm being mean but seriously, how would you feel if were one of those kids?  You never know the situation so I just think sometimes we have to try not to be so nosey or curious as much as a few compliments on how well behaved my kids are or how polite they were to you, after they cut you off with the cart or their running all over the place! (Yeah, I know I'm the biggest bullshitter right now but you get the picture, right?)
About a year ago, I had a lady in Kroger at the meat counter looking at me forever.  The older kids were so bothered looking down as she said "I' ve heard about women like you that have a bunch of kids at your age" to which all I could do was smile to keep from spitting nails!  I saw her about a week later as I was having lunch and she didn't recognize me while she sat all comfy and cozy with a gentleman having lunch.  I couldn't think of anything to do that would bother her as much as my kids were bothered except to jam my tongue down her throat and act as if we were secret lovers, but anyone that knows me knows I can't even fake that one.  I almost asked if she'd mind being an incubator for me for a few more kids since she looked about my age!
I'm sure I'll be seeing more people that stay stupid sh.....so if you have any ideas please send them to me or post for the next mama that loves kids like me but doesn't need to have them feel like ...well, I don't know what they felt like but it wasn't what a kid should feel just for going to the grocery with their mom and siblings!

Awww Feel the "on camera" Love!

just a little tester to see if we could post :) I know...I know....I should speak softer and stop getting excited about them being nice...but if you could see how they beat the sh out of each other, well....you'll see soon enough...lol

I'm Just Taking A Little Time....Could You Give It Back?

I had one of those tired moments as I was going down the steps today so I sat my ass down for a few at the top before even attempting to get to the bottom of it. As I sat there exhausted and mindless I started to think.....(stop laughing, yes I CAN think!) I thought to myself how awful it must be when kids, or anyone, is pushed and pushed to go and go when all you need is a moment.  Just a quick moment can so do wonders and make a huge difference in the rest of your decisions.  Imagine if we gave our kids that time just once and a while for no reason not expecting that "one size fits all" thing.   You never know what's going on in someone elses head,  so maybe we could allow, if for just one moment, nothing but empty space and thoughts to just get it out and go on.  Time, in any fashion, can be so important because like a smile, the rest of the day is contagious to others.  I'm thinking someone else may pay the price if I don't steal mine!! ;)

Wondering where Tannah is? Being a good girl doing her homework!

Don't Mess With My ONE HANDED POOP SCOOP! (No pun intented)

I picked this up at Walmart  as my spare for when my last "umpteenth" pooper scooper breaks.  I cannot tell you how many "waste disposals" I've had with my furbabies.  I had a tank in the back you could drop it in and put some sort of saw dust stuff in to break it down and keep the smell down but since making the patio larger, it has ended up somewhere I can't recall....lol  Don't expect me to go looking for it either as it was starting to get a bit old since one of the kids stepped on the lid and fell in.  I'm going to ask and see which one did that......I think 2 may have fallen in the "chocolate well" ......and they weren't feeling like Wonka Bars at the time, believe me.
Anyway, this new pooper scooper, unlike the last, seems to be more sturdy and I don't have to bend.
It's nice because it folds to keep short but the blue part slips up and makes a sturdy handle for NO BENDING! I don't talk much about my fibromyalgia but this allows me to scoop without the pain of bending......no, I don't want to hear I'ma lazy ass..if you had as many dogs as me you'd be looking for modifications in your waste removal bending too!  Most importantly, it allows me the energy to return my neighbor's poop when they forget and leave it as a gift.  Some gifts are so worth regifting!:)  Love my new scooper!!
