Valentines Day
Wow.......am I ever glad that's over. Being on a diet I really picked the wrong day to be staying away from chocolates. I even sent my girls downstairs to hop all over the living room and gobble their assorted candies so I wouldn't be tempted to have a few bites even if already bitten or slobber soaked! It doesn't matter to me. Sugar is MY addiction. Judging from my kids, their on the same road their sugar addiction is the equivalent to us boozing it up! (Not that I EVER did that in my day) They seem to forget what they're doing and black out. It has to be the whole cause without reason because I know they're not just dropping those wrappers and running around like they've lost all good sense. I mean c'mon! It makes them brave enough to say "NO! I don't want to!" And God knows what else could fall out of their mouths! Then the nerve of them to look as if their scared! Just because you've threatened them within an inch of their lives doesn't mean that's why they look like Freddy Kruger just jumped out! It's that torn thought of "Oh my God how will I get more junk" and "I'm going to die if she doesn't let me have more right now!". All I can say is "Thanks Hallmark!" I enjoyed cleaning my carpet of red candy and little valentines from classmates as I chased 5 girls around begging for help. You can bet your ass I will be coming up with something better for Easter!!!
